Feel confident with your A\/C \u2013 with A\/C Pro there\u2019s no need to call a mechanic!<\/p>\n<p>ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND SAFETY GOGGLES.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>1.\u00a0<\/strong>OPEN HOOD AND FIND LOW-PRESSURE A\/C SERVICE PORT<\/h2>\n<p>With the engine off, open the hood and locate the low-pressure A\/C service port (on the larger diameter tubing, between the compressor and evaporator). Remove the plastic cap from port and save.<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5426\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-1.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>NOTE: For best results charge under shade. Keep the car doors open while charging (front and back).<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>2.<\/strong>TURN ENGINE ON. TURN A\/C ON HIGH.<\/h2>\n<p>Start car and turn on A\/C. Set fan to highest setting and temperature to coldest setting. Make sure recirculation mode is selected.<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5433\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-3.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"414\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>3.\u00a0<\/strong>ATTACH QUICK CONNECT FITTING<\/h2>\n<p>Attach quick connect fitting on end of recharge hose to low-pressure service port identified earlier by pulling the connector ring back as the fitting is pushed on.<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5429\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-4.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>NOTE: Our quick connect fitting will attach only onto the low-pressure port.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>4. READ PRESSURE COLOUR<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Without pulling the trigger, look at gauge to see what colour section the needle is pointing toward. Depending on the colour, determine next step according to grid below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5431\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-5.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"789\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>5. REMOVE PLASTIC SPACER<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Disconnect the trigger assembly from service port. Unscrew trigger assembly from can and remove plastic spacer between trigger assembly and can.<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5430\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-7.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"544\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>6. CHARGE SYSTEM<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Shake can well and screw can onto gauge\/ trigger assembly. Connect the quick connect back on the low-side port. Make sure to always hold the can upright (12 o\u2019clock position) before starting to charge. Squeeze the trigger to charge the A\/C system. While charging, shake the can up and down, alternating between 12 o\u2019clock and 3 o\u2019clock position. Every 10\u201315 seconds release trigger. After needle is stabilized, check pressure readings on gauge.<\/p>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5428\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-8.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>TIP: Read pressure when trigger is released, not while being squeezed. It is typical for gauge to bounce around as the compressor is cycling. If that happens, read the lowest pressure.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>7. STOP CHARGING WHEN NEEDLE <\/strong><strong>IS <\/strong><strong>IN GREEN<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"align-none\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5427\" src=\"https:\/\/acprocold.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/06\/Analogue-Instructions-9.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCHARGE YOUR SYSTEM \u2013 DO NOT LET NEEDLE MAKE IT INTO THE RED AREA.\u00a0<\/strong>Once needle makes it anywhere in green zone of the gauge, charging is complete. Do not try to get it to the highest part of the green zone or you risk overcharging. Remove hose from service port and replace plastic cap when finished.
